Term 2

P.7 Mr Beckett

This term the current P.7’s have been working hard in both Numeracy and Literacy in preparation for Secondary School. This however has been coupled with some fantastic and fun activities such as World Book Day, in which the children dressed up as their favourite book character and took part in many fun, book related activities throughout the day.

As well as all the Numeracy and Literacy the children have been studying the Victorians as part of our World Around Us Topic. We even had a Victorian day in school, allowing for more dress-up!

Our main focus however, and the one thing that has consumed all our spare time is our show, Guys and Dolls. Every member of our class was fully involved in the production, dancing and singing of Guys and Dolls. This really has been one epic of a show and if you missed it you really missed out on something special!!! We have loved every moment of it and would like to say a massive big thank you to Mrs Dawson and all the other teachers for their hard work.

This has been a term to remember and as we look with some sadness into our final term in Towerview Primary School we know that we have created some fantastic memories this term that will last forever.

On the plus side we still have so much to look forward to in term 3 with our P.7 trip to Holland now on the horizon. We plan to leave Towerview on a high and enjoy our final term together, with smiles on our faces.
