We had a fantastic time on our class trip to Castle Espie Wetland Centre. We enjoyed learning about many types of wildfowl and how they are adapted to live in their environment. We fed the ducks with seed and learnt why the males and females look very different. We also had a 'duckling hunt' in the woodland area and has great fun hiding many ducklings for the other team to find. After a short break we went on a long walk, following the 'Lego trail' and were able to use the map to find many different animals that had been created using 1000's of Lego bricks. After our lunch we had some more energy so we went off to find the adventure area in Wild Wood. It was brilliant fun and we were able to climb, crawl and swing through the woodland before it was time to get the coach back to school. What a lovely day! We hope you enjoy our photos!
