Look at all the fun activities we’ve been doing in lockdown....

Our Nativity "Shine Star Shine" has been recorded and sent home to parents. All the children sang, said, their words and played their instruments so well we are all very proud. We are getting ready to go over to computers and welcome Jo-Jingles back to Nursery next term.

We have had a fun week the last week of term and we watched "Jack and the Beanstalk" pantomime-provided by the PTA.

We lit the campfire and sang Christmas songs with Mr Campbell and we had a visit from "Wee Critters" and finally our party with special visitor. We are ready for Term 2....

We have had to wrap up warm to play outdoors and we have been building and we use photographs of castles, towers as well as school to help us. We searched for leaves and counted out the right number. We are doing yoga each week and we are getting very good at it. We love our stories and we have been reading Fairy Tales. We made Gingerbread Men, porridge and vegetable soup. There is always mark making and writing in Nursery and we are very good at following patterns. We made and painted Junk art models and we had a crazy hair/hat day with the rest of school for Children in Need. We are getting good at sewing thanks to Miss McGimpsey.

We have been very busy in October both outside and indoor at Nursery. We have been leaf rubbing and painting as well as playing with leaves, conkers and apples and oranges in the water tray. We have been looking closely at signs of Autumn and we have been building and following patterns. We love to paint and we have been looking after our plants. We like to make marks with chalk, crayons, pencils and felt pens. We have been looking at shapes and making potions and very importantly making lots of new friends!

A huge welcome to all the children in both our Nursery classes. We have had our settling-in time and we have been enjoying lots of outdoor play. We have been painting, drawing, reading, observing things and playing in the water as well as much more. We have even had picnic snack outside......look at our lovely photos...
