We watched our caterpillars turn into butterflies and have found lots of mini beasts in our garden. We started our Football skills with Jamie Mulgrew and the children are really enjoying all the games and goals. The mud kitchen has been very busy and we have cooked with mushrooms, apples, spring onions, leaves, daises and mud. We made our own rainbows and we are so proud of the way we mixed the colours and we put them up in Nursery. We are learning lots of new songs with Mr Campbell and we have brought the sun out with our singing. We had a great Sport's Day and all the children and parents did so well. We had our Teddy Bears Picnic as part of the Towerview Garden Party and we're looking forward to learning lots about water and having more trips this month.

We have opened the mud kitchen again and the children have been following recipes and adding lots of new ingredients to their cooking. We have been doing lots of different scavenger hunts outside and we planted cress and some beans and have watched them grow. Over the last 2 weeks we have had our mums and dads coming to Nursery to play with us in Sneak a Peek and it was so good to show them all our favourite things. Thank you.

We have been very busy in the outdoors this month. We got a lovely new sand house and cottage and we have been making fabulous buildings in the sand and acting out the story of the 3 bears in the cottage. We have read lots of stories, brushed up the leaves, collected and counted the leaves and we have been learning about crossing the road safely. We visited Forest School which we loved and lit our own campfire and had marshmallows and Miss McGimpsey's wonderful hot chocolate and thanks to Mr Campbell for our lovely singing.

We had Mum's and Dads in Nursery for Story Reading, which made us so happy. We have been making junk art models, looking at dark and light and we are doing our yoga each week. We have started visiting the computer suite in school and we have made Gingerbread Men, vegetable soup and Porridge. We have loved reading our Fairy Tales as well. We all dressed in spots and stripes for Children in Need....
