We have a specialised unit which provides for children who have been identified as having moderate learning difficulties, (MLD) by the Special Education Department of the EA. The children in this unit are enrolled as pupils of our school and are integrated into school life and into their year group classes, particularly in subject areas such as Art, Music, Drama and Physical Education. After intensive teaching programmes, these children should either be identified as being ready for reintegration into their own mainstream school or considered for some other special provision.
